Every day of the week we have boat trips to various destinations.
The easiest way to see a wide variety of the Sharm el Sheikh dive-sites.
We use modern, well equipped boats that not only offer the best for diving but also have all the facilities a snorkeler or non diver is looking for.

 

Local dives

The local dive sites are located along the coast and are easy to reach by boat from all jetties. The maximum sailing time is 40 minutes and some sites are reached in as little as 10 minutes.

There are a lot of different sites along the coast and which one we choose depends on the weather conditions and the level of the divers we have on board.

On the dive sites you will find nice coral gardens, steep drop offs, gorgonian forest, gentle slopes and a lot more. All the local sites have an abundance of reef fish and the whole range of corals can be seen on these sites.

The local sites are more sheltered from the wind then Ras Mohamed and Tiran Island. So for a family day out on the boat with snorkelers as well, the local dive sites are an excellent choice to take.

Strait of Tiran

Situated off shore, at the entrance of the Gulf of Aqaba, is the Strait of Tiran with Tiran Island and in the middle of the strait 4 world famous reefs. Because of their position in the middle of the straight the reefs are only accessible by boat and prone to strong currents. These currents bring lots of marine live to the area which makes the dive sites so popular.

The currents make it the perfect place for drift diving and fish observations as it not only brings an abundance of reef fish but also the bigger pelagic fish. The reef have steep walls but also nice coral gardens with a diversity of corals.

Dive sites:
Jackson Reef, the furthest reef in the strait of Tiran easy recognized by the remnants of the Lara wreck on top of the reef plate. It has two beautiful coral gardens on both ends and a steep wall between them. Here you can expect to see anything, from the smallest nudibranch till the larger Hammerhead sharks.




Woodhouse Reef, the longest reef In the area can be dived from both sides and offers a steep wall covered with soft and hard corals. Little crevasses make this dive very interesting.

Thomas Reef, the smallest of the 4 reefs, but very challenging. Because of its size the currents can be a bit tricky but there is always a possibility to make a nice dive on it.

 

Gordon Reef, the largest reef and a nice place to moor up on for lunch and enjoy some snorkeling. A large plateau drops off to a lovely drop off where big swarms of banner fish can be seen.



South Lagona, a nice gentle sloping reef with nice gorgonian fans

North Laguna, big table corals and huge gorgonian fans cover this nice wall. A good dive in the afternoon after enjoying luch as the setting sun is illuminating this dive site.

Kormoran, a shallow wreck built in 1963 and sunk in 1984. The only wreck in the area suitable for open water divers.

Ras Gamila, a nice dive to do on the way back as a third dive. A sandy sloping bottom with lots of coral pinnacles. It is a good place to spot stingrays, crocodile fish and moray eels.

Ras Mohamed

In the morning the boat will travel to the national park of Ras Mohamed where the first dive site will be reached in about half an hour up to an hour. The National Park at Ras Mohamed lies where the Gulf of Suez meets the Gulf of Aqaba at Sinai's most southern point. The currents coming from the 2 gulfs make it the perfect place for all kinds of fish. Dive the world famous dive site Shark and Yolanda Reef, find Nemo on Anemone city or enjoy the walls of Sharks Observatory and Ras Zatar.

Declared in 1983 with an area of 97 km², it has since grown to an area of 480 km² and includes marine and terrestrial areas at the Ras Mohamed Peninsula and the island of Tiran, and all shorelines between the main Sharm el Sheikh Harbor and the southern boundary of the Nabq protected area. The park is notable of its sharply defined raised fossil coral platforms 15.000 till 2 million years old. The more resent fossil reefs show similar species and structures as present today.

Night Dive

The Sinai Scuba Diving center offers night dives from the boat any day of the week when we have a minimum of 8 participants.

In the night all the crawling creatures come out from their hiding places inside the reef, such as sea stars, feather stars, sea cucumbers, nudibranches, shells and shrimps. You may be followed by Lion fish, see moray eels feeding, find an octopus or a cuttlefish and see all the small shrimps that come out in the night. If you are one of the lucky ones you may even spot a Spanish dancer.
