The currents make it the perfect place for drift diving and fish observations as it not only brings an abundance of reef fish but also the bigger pelagic fish. The reef have steep walls but also nice coral gardens with a diversity of corals.
Dive sites:

Jackson Reef, the furthest reef in the strait of Tiran easy recognized by the remnants of the Lara wreck on top of the reef plate. It has two beautiful coral gardens on both ends and a steep wall between them. Here you can expect to see anything, from the smallest nudibranch till the larger Hammerhead sharks.
Woodhouse Reef, the longest reef In the area can be dived from both sides and offers a steep wall covered with soft and hard corals. Little crevasses make this dive very interesting.
Thomas Reef, the smallest of the 4 reefs, but very challenging. Because of its size the currents can be a bit tricky but there is always a possibility to make a nice dive on it.

Gordon Reef, the largest reef and a nice place to moor up on for lunch and enjoy some snorkeling. A large plateau drops off to a lovely drop off where big swarms of banner fish can be seen.

South Lagona, a nice gentle sloping reef with nice gorgonian fans
North Laguna, big table corals and huge gorgonian fans cover this nice wall. A good dive in the afternoon after enjoying luch as the setting sun is illuminating this dive site.
Kormoran, a shallow wreck built in 1963 and sunk in 1984. The only wreck in the area suitable for open water divers.Ras Gamila, a nice dive to do on the way back as a third dive. A sandy sloping bottom with lots of coral pinnacles. It is a good place to spot stingrays, crocodile fish and moray eels.
