To become a Master Scuba Diver you must have the PADI Advanced certification (or a qualifying certification from another training organization), you must be a PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization), 12 years old, have a minimum of five PADI Specialty Diver courses and minimum of 50 logged before certification.
With the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, you have reached the highest non professional level in the PADI System of diver education. It means that you have acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environment. The next step would be to become a professional.
