The Sinai Scuba Diving Center would love to introduce you to their Bedouin friends and their lifestyle. The Bedouins are the original inhabitants of the Sinai Peninsula and their lifestyle differs from the Egyptian lifestyle. They have lived in the desert in “beet shar” (house of hair, i.e. tent) for centuries and part of them still do. To get an idea about this Culture and their traditions is an absolute must.
If you book this trip with us we will bring you to “Wadi Mandar” a Bedouin village about half an hour from Sharm el Sheikh by car. Here you will meet the Bedouins, drink tea with Habak ( a special mint grown here in Sinai), have dinner under the stars and taste flavors you will never forget.
You can also have time with the Bedouin after scuba diving in Dahab. On the way back from Dahab we will visit Wadi Mandar, a small village where you can ride a camel and spent some time with a Bedouin family.
