Ras Ghozlani

This dive site is just before the corner to Marsa Bereika.
It is a gentle sandy slope with lots of coral pinnacles. Take it nice and slow and have a close look at these pinnacles. Many are home of a cleaning station with cleaner fish and cleaner shrimps.
The bigger fish come her to get themselves groomed.
Take care at the corner the current is most of the time picking up but going around the corner is prohibited as you can see on the sign that is posted on land.

A good dive for all divers as well as snorkelers.

Ras Za’atar

The dive is normally started at the big crack in the rock formation.
About 5 minutes in the dive at around 15 meters you will find a huge table coral standing alone with a nice fan coral attached to it.
After about 15 minutes cruising along the wall you will find a chimney full of glassfish.
At the corner look in to the blue, because you never know.....
After the corner the steep wall changes to a slope with coral boulders.

Look for the smaller stuff like nudibranchs and pipefish, but don't forget the blue for the bigger pelagic fish.

Jackfish Alley

The dive starts at the rock outcrop with the white bird shit marking.
After about 5 minutes under the water you will reach a small cave that can be entered at around 7 meter.
After this cave there is an other little swim through as well as an other cave a little further along.
When you dive along you will find a large coral boulder at around 12 meter covered with soft corals and surrounded by glassfish.
A little further one needs to decide where to go. To follow the sandy alley or to venture out to the satellite reef.
Either way you need to make your way back to the main reef before surfacing.

Sharks & Yolanda Reef

This dive- site consists of 2 satellite reefs Shark and Yolanda.
The dive- site is world famous and is one of the five best rated dive- sites in the world.
During the summer months the reefs are visited by big swarms of snapper, batfish, jacks and barracuda. This also attracts the predators like sharks.
But the reefs have also very nice coral gardens and yolanda has the left overs of the wreckage of the Yolanda ship.
The yolanda carried everything that one needs to equip a bathroom, so you can find toilets, bathtubs tubes and lots more.

The current on this dive- site can be strong and it can only be done drift diving from a boat.
