Dahab is a Bedouin settlement approximately one hour drive north along the coast from Sharm el Sheikh. The palm-fringed town is famous for its laid-back atmosphere. It also offers dive sites which are completely different from those in the Sharm el Sheikh area.
A day-trip from Sharm offers an easy way to dive at Dahab's most famous sites, the Canyon and the Blue Hole. Both are shore dives with a very unusual topography. It is also possible on the way back to visit a Bedouin settlement, where you can get an idea about their way of life and share a nice cup of tea with them.
The excursion to Dahab includes transport, two guided dives, and water and soft drinks.
Dahab excursions are organized on request, with a minimum of six divers. If you would like to visit Dahab, we recommend signing up at our dive center soon after arrival.

Bells to the Blue Hole, we start this dive with a little walk that brings us to the entry point of the Bells. The bells is a chimney with an opening on one side. At 27 meter it has an arch that you will pass through and this is where the place got its name from. Because the divers hit the arch it makes a clinging sound like ringing a bell. Between the Bells and the Blue Hole you find a nice wall with an overhang and corals that are only found in this area. After about 25 minutes you reach the Blue Hole. It is literally a deep blue hole in the reef with an exit at 55 meter, but we will enter from the top st about 7 meter. After circling the Blue hole or diving through the middle we will then exit to the Bedouin tents to have a nice cup of Bedouin tea.
The Canyon, has a nice entry through a sandy lagoon where often the Pegasus are seen. Outside the lagoon is a nice reef with the famous canyon. We will enter the canyon from the big entry, have a look around and exit it again to see our own bubbles coming through the sand. This is also the place where the red sea walkman might be hiding. The reef surrounding the canyon is a good place to spot special small creatures so be sure to keep your eyes open all the time.
For shore access to the dive sites, we recommend using open-heel fins with boots.
These may be hired from the diving center if required.
