Pirate’s bar
Located at the Hilton Fayrouz Hotel in the middle of Naama Bay this bar is the favourite meeting place for Sharm businessmen during afternoon hours and dive guides and instructors after work, just in time for the happy hour that lasts until 7:30pm. Imported beer on draft is available. Sharm's own answer to "cheers".
Camel Bar
This bar is situated upstairs from the Camel hotel and is very popular with the divers. Life music is organized on weekends and on the roof you can chill out on carpets.
Ice Bar
Truly the coolest place to have a drink. The walls, Bar, the seats the tables and even the glasses are made from Ice. Entry price includes your choice or drink – Vodka shooters the way they were meant to be served, or your choice from our full bar range.
Hard Rock Cafe
Typical Hard Rock atmosphere, hourly dancing waiters and good food.
Little Buddha
The Sharm branch of the world famous Buddha bar. Early chill-out music with late night dancing in a classy atmosphere.

Most hotels organize an oriental buffet during the week.
•The most popular independent restaurant is El Masrieen located in Old Market and very popular by locals and foreigners alike.
• In Naama bay there is Tam-Tam located at the Ghazala hotel directly on the beach promenade. Enjoy oriental atmosphere while smoking a water pipe (Shisha) outside the restaurant
• Take it to the higher level and go dine in the Fayrouz restaurant of the Ritz Carlton Hotel. They offer an exotic ambience and the El Khan terrace offfers a true feel of 16th century Cairo
• Italian
There are quite a few Italian restaurants around,
• the Al Fanar restaurant situated beside the lighthouse at Ras Um Sid is definitely a unique place to visit. At the edge of the cliff – covered by a big tent – excellent Italian cuisine is served with imported Italian wine for reasonable prices.
• Newly opened and already well known for its refined Italian kitchen is Pentocolacia. Located on the top floor of the Gazia Mall. Its well known for its excellent food and very reasonable prices.
• Situated on the beachfront in Sharm el Maya is Ultima Spiaggia and the Fernando Restaurant. They offer nice Italian food directly on the beach or in the restaurant on the other side of the street. Mid range prices but a very special atmosphere.
• French
You can eat “A la Carte” at the French restaurants of the Mövenpick chain (Mövenpick Jolie Ville & Mövenpick Golf Hotel). Five star service and price.
• Dananeer in Na'ama Bay, since a long time the favorite with the locals has a nice variety. Good steaks and lovely seafood.
• Chinese
Chinese restaurants are present and the food is okay!
• China House, in the Na'ama Center and in the Tiran mall in Old Market. In- and outdoor dining with view
• To spoil yourself you may want to try the Chinese restaurant at the Mövenpick Golf hotel. The food deserves the price.
• Japanese/Korean
•The KOKAI restaurant at the Ghazala hotel offers Japanese and Korean kitchen, presented with a knife twirling show while the chef cooks in front of you.
• Konai Kai , another five star Japanese restaurant can be found at the Marriott hotel. It is definitely worth the money. Great Tepanyaki shows at night
• Sushi
• can be enjoyed in all Makani outlets and little Buddha
• Thai
• China House, in the Na'ama Center and in the Tiran mall in Old Market. In- and outdoor dining with view
• A flexible Thai cook brightens up the little quiet place at the Sharm Holiday Inn at Naama Bay. Vegetarians will be surprised. The first class Thai restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Hotel is a beautiful place for special occasions.
• Thai House, in the Na'ama Center and in the Tiran mall in Old Market. In- and outdoor dining with view
• Indian
There are two good Indian restaurants to visit.
• Rangoli, with its impeccable service, the Rangoli is viewed as the authentic Indian restaurant in Sharm El Sheikh. Its open-air terrace overlooking the magnificent Naama Bay makes it an unforgettable fine dining experience.
•Similar food, but less expensive is available at the Tandoori in the Camel hotel. Being a dive cente courtyard during the day, the place changes amazingly into a cozy place for the night. The Tandoori is a favorite with locals and guest alike.
• India House, in the Na'ama Center and in the Tiran mall in Old Market. In- and outdoor dining with view, but not as good as the former two.
• Sea Food
For casual atmosphere there are a few famous seafood places in downtown Sharm El Sheikh.
• Sinai Star a garage place with no menu and only non-alcoholic drinks. Served are plates of fish filet, calamari or shrimp with rice and Egyptian salad. You can bring your own alcohol if you wish. The food is basic, but inexpensive and good.
• Fares a famous fish restaurant has also a few outlets in Sharm, downtown and opposite El Mercato . Good food and very reasonable prices.
• Red sea fish at the exit of old market has a nice balcony to enjoy their rich menu of Fish.
• Fast Food
With McDonald’s a lot of other fast food chains moved to Sharm. Pizza Hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Hard Rock Café and Planet Hollywood give you variety for a quick bite. Food tastes like everywhere else in the world.
• Sweets
• Vanilla at the camel Hotel in Naama bay offers the best ice cream in town.
. Handmade ice cream also available in the Viva mall on Peace Road.
• All kinds of cakes and sweets at all Makani outlets, also home delivery possible.
